On Wednesday, Investing.com reported that Take-Two’s second quarter revenue exceeded expectations and that analysts had not forecast.

Take-Two posted earnings per share $0.09 for revenue $984.9M. Investing.com polled analysts to predict EPS of $0.35 on revenues of $869.58M.

While Take-Two shares have increased 17.17% since the start of the year they are still 14.18% below their 52 week high of $214.58 on February 8. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is up 24.07% from the start of the year.

Take-Two is following other notable earnings in the Technology sector this month

Take-Two reports on an earnings beat achieved by Alphabet C, who reported EPS at $27.99 for revenue $65.12B. This compares to the forecasts of EPS at $23.83 for revenue $63.53B.

Taiwan Semiconductor beat all expectations with a third quarter earnings per share of $1.07 on $14.75B revenue, as compared to $1.04 forecast on $14.81B revenue.
