Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The closing bell in Tel Aviv saw the stock fall by 0.16%.

They were the top performers at the session Ormat Technologies TASE:, which gained 3.36% or 800 point to trade at 24620 by the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd. TASE: added 2.2% or 270 to trade at 11420. Nova was up 2.00%, 790 points to 4240 in late-trade.

Shufersal, TASE: (which fell 2.37% or just 62 points) was the worst performer of the session. It traded at 2558 by the closing. Strauss Group TASE: (TASE) fell 2.09%, or 196 points, to finish at 9170 Energix TASE: was at a decline of 2.09%, or 30 points from 1403.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 294 to 2,210, and 30, respectively.

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. shares (TASE:), rose to new highs over the past three years; rising 2.42% or from 270 to 11420. Nova shares (TASE) reached all-time highs, rising 2.00% (790 to 40240).

Crude oil rose 1.21%, or 0.99, to $82.92 per barrel in December delivery. Brent oil rose 0.61 or 0.73% to $84.04 per barrel in commodity trading. The December Gold Futures contract traded at $1828.05 an ounce.

USD/ILS declined 0.04%, to 3.1088, and EUR/ILS dropped 0.15% to 35991

At 94.118, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.08%.
