FDA Gives Inovio Pharmaceuticals the All-Clear to Continue Phase 3 Covid Segment -Breaking

Investing.com — Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: On Tuesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized the continuation of the Phase 3 Trial for the Covid-19 candidate vaccine.
In September 2013, the FDA placed INO-4800’s trial in the U.S. under partial clinical suspension. This was after the FDA needed additional information. The government ended up withholding funding.
The company soon stated that it was looking for other countries to run the trial. Advaccine Biopharmaceuticals Suzhou was partnered to carry out the phase 3 segments in several different countries.
Inovio currently conducts the global Phase 3 segment across the Americas and Asia.

The U.S. announcement today builds upon our extensive global efforts in India and Brazil as well as Mexico, Colombia, Mexico, Colombia, Thailand, and the Philippines where we have been granted authorizations so far.
