BOE says market infrastructure firms no longer need to discuss dividends -Breaking

LONDON, (Reuters) – Financial market infrastructures and service providers don’t need to talk about paying dividends ahead with the Bank of England anymore, said it on Thursday.

This requirement was imposed by the central bank in June 2013 as part of a larger series of restrictions on dividends

This was done to ensure that firms have enough capital to get them through the COVID-19 epidemic.
