(Reuters) – A rise in American international visitors may be detrimental to America. Disney You can visit the Universal and other parks throughout the country up to next year. Since early arrivals will be focusing on family reunions and vacation trips, you will need to plan.

While domestic footfall increased in Walt Disney (NYSE) Co and Comcast Corp(NASDAQ:), profits were impacted by rising costs, capacity limitations and fewer international visitors to the U.S. parks.

According to Disney World, Orlando attracts more tourists than Disneyland. It’s also a popular destination. Morningstar senior analyst Neil Macker said that it is not something you do on your own.

The United States has opened its borders to international fully-vaccinated travelers in recent weeks and granted vaccines to children 5-11 years old, increasing investor optimism and Disney shares.

Disney executives stated that they expected a rebound in international attendance by the second half next year, and indicated a rise in costs.

Some domestic tourists keep the parks full.

Susannah Streeter, an analyst at Investing in America said: “There’s a expectation that stronger domestic consumption will compensate (for) the shortage with signs of pent up demand from holidaymakers who are starved for vacations.” Hargreaves Lansdown (LON)

However, it is still expensive to run theme parks in the face of a pandemic. International travelers who account for 10%-20% of U.S. visitors often purchase souvenirs or other high-profit products.

Comcast executives, who own Universal parks and are one of Disney’s closest rivals, stated that the pre-pandemic profits levels were dependent upon international visitors.

Brian Roberts from Comcast, the CFO of Comcast has indicated that although we feel encouraged by the recovery continuing, reaching pre-pandemic levels in EBITDA is likely to require an increase on international visitation.
