Biden names former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu to lead infrastructure plan -Breaking

(Reuters) – Former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu has been named by President Joe Biden to oversee the $1 trillion infrastructure project, according to the White House on Sunday.

Landrieu was also an ex-Littenant Governor of Louisiana and led New Orleans between 2010-2018. His role was crucial in helping New Orleans recover from the 2005 devastating hurricane.
