Growth investors may consider investing in electric vehicle (EV), stocks such as Nikola (NKLA:) and Tesla (NASDAQ. Nikola, while Tesla may be a leader in the market, is still a pre-revenue business. While Tesla is a market leader, Nikola is a pre-revenue company. Fortune Business Insights reports that the worldwide EV market will grow from $246 billion by 2020 to $1.32 trillion by 2028. This is a 24.3% annual growth rate.

These rapid sales make EV companies like Tesla (TSLA), and Nikola (NKLA), attractive long-term investments. Nikola has yet to see any significant sales, despite Tesla being the market leader.

Today I’ll analyze TSLA and NKLA to determine which EV stock is currently a better investment.
