Information about the Partnership
Mathikshara, as per official announcement will be designing 100 pieces out of three unique artworks. Each artwork, however, will have 100 pieces with different proportions. This means each piece will be unique.
It was also announced that the pieces will be 3D and in a similar design to Mathikshara’s signature alien-like sushi characters. The collection to be released was inspired by an existing Suishiverse collection called “Gen Ichi” and will be available for sale on the marketplace from November 16, 2021.
The collection is to serve as an early Christmas present to Sushiverse users and those who buy any of the NFTs from the previous ‘Gen Ichi’ collection will be able to potentially receive an NFT via airdrop from the ‘Sushiverse x Laya Mathikshara’ collection by completing a number of puzzles.
Mathikshara created NFTs for the first time in 2020. She has been praised worldwide and sold her first NFT this year. Sushiverse has a highly-respected artist as part of this partnership. It is expected to have a well-sold-out collection.
Art and NFTs
NFTs’ success on the bigger market means that we can expect even more prominent artists to make their music available in NFT format. This format allows the artist to profit from their work and also gives the fan the opportunity to show support.
