© Reuters U.S. stocks lower at close of trade; Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.17%Investing.com – U.S. stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
The index lost 0.17% at the close of NYSE. It fell 0.84% and fell 1.92%.
Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc NASDAQ:, which gained 4.28% (or 1.91 points) to close at 46.53 was the best performer of the session. Meanwhile, Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:) added 1.78% or 2.62 points to end at 149.88 and International Business Machines (NYSE:) was up 1.66% or 1.94 points to 118.84 in late trade.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ 🙂 fell 6.48 points or 1.97% to trade at 323.01 by the end of the session. Boeing Co (NYSE:) declined 1.92% or 3.89 points to end at 198.49 and JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:) was down 1.81% or 2.92 points to 158.29.
The top performers on the S&P 500 were ViacomCBS Inc (NASDAQ:) which rose 5.11% to 31.07, Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ:) which was up 4.28% to settle at 46.53 and Cooper Companies Inc (NYSE:) closed at 391.56, having gained 3.60%
Adobe Systems Incorporated, (NASDAQ 🙂 was among the worst-performing companies. It fell 8.24% to $616.53 late trade. Tesla Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 was also down 6.2% to 1014.97. SVB Financial Group was at 5.28% to $674.57.
Top performers of the NASDAQ Composite are TuanChe The ADR (NASDAQ) rose by 44.74% and now stands at 3.300 Celyad SA (NASDAQ: ) This was an increase of 32.02%, to settle at 4.700 IO Biotech Inc (NASDAQ:), which saw 31.80% gain to reach 10.90.

EUR/USD was up 0.15 to 1.1316 while USD/JPY dropped 0.30% at 112.82.
