Recently, crypto trader Michaël van de Poppe uploaded a video revealing the top altcoins to buy in December 2021. The explosion in decentralized finance and increasing use of smart contract technology has caused altcoins to boom.

In addition, Michaël van de Poppe named the most promising altcoins to buy in December 2021.

Ethereum (ETH) is the first smart contract platform to create decentralized apps (dApps). For smart contract stability, it created its own programming language. ETH currently trades at $4.4212.06 and has a daily trading volume of $26.2 million.

Cardano (ADA) is second. It’s a proof of-stake Blockchain platform which allows visionaries and changemakers to create positive change in the world. ADA is trading at $1.45 and has a daily volume of $2.5 million.

Aave is a third option. It’s a decentralized platform for lending that provides higher interest rates and better anonymity than central lending. Aave, one of the most trusted lending protocols in today’s market, is one. The collateral offered by Aave is higher than what the borrower can pay into the smart contract loan. Aave offers 10% APR on some stablecoin loans, with no need for know-your customer (KYC), a rare product in traditional finance.

Chainlink is the fourth crypto that allows smart contracts to use outside data. Ethereum Smart contracts are now able to work on global occurrences, other assets and can make calls with other APIs. Chainlink makes smart contract smart. The system also includes real-world data. It allows for operators to protect themselves against bad seasons.
