HONG KONG (Reuters] – On Wednesday, trading in shares of Kaisa Group Holdings’ embattled Chinese developer was suspended by Hong Kong’s stock exchange.

A source who has direct knowledge of the situation told Reuters that Kaisa would not meet its $400 Million deadline to pay off offshore debts by Tuesday.
