Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The closing bell in Tel Aviv saw the stock fall by 0.2%.

Nice Ltd, (TASE:), rose 2.9% or 2090 to trade at 93490 by the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE) Added 1.78% or 24 Points to End at 1373 Shapir Engineering Industry Late trade saw a 1.69% increase in TASE, which was 47 points higher at 2825

They were also the session’s worst performers Bank Hapoalim TASE:, which dropped 3.04% (97 points) to close at 3090. Ormat Technologies TASE: fell 1.72%, or 440 points, to reach 25080. First International Bank of Israel Ltd was at 12460. (TASE 🙂 dropped 1.35% or 170 to 12460.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpassing declining stocks by 264, 220, and 40 ending unchanged.

The shares of Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE 🙂 rose to new highs. They gained 1.69%, or 47 to 2825.

The January delivery of crude oil was 0.38 percent higher at $72.43 per barrel. Brent oil rose 0.47 or 0.62% to reach $75.91 per barrel in commodity trading. Meanwhile, the February Gold Futures contract lost 0.55 or 0.03% to trade at $1784.15 per troy ounce.

The USD/ILS ratio was lower by 0.94% at 3.0981 and the EUR/ILS ratio fell 0.2% to 3.5154.

At 95.898, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.49%.
