Supreme Court asks U.S. government for views on Bayer weedkiller case -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Monday’s U.S. Supreme Court inquiry into President Joe Biden’s administration regarding whether they should listen to the justices was conducted by the U.S. Supreme Court. Bayer AG (DE:). Roundup’s claims that it causes cancer has been dismissed by customers. The company is trying to prevent potentially huge damages.

Bayer (OTC 🙂 has filed an August petition before the Supreme Court in order to change a lower court ruling that awarded $25 million in damages to Edwin Hardeman in California. Hardeman is a Roundup customer who claimed he contracted cancer from Roundup’s glyphosate-based herbicides. Bayer’s maneuvers to reduce its legal responsibility in thousands of cases is closely watching the Supreme Court’s decision.
