REUTERS/Dado Ruvic/Illustration/File Photo(Reuters) – Wall Street analysts had predicted that BlackBerry Ltd, a Canadian software firm, would surpass third-quarter revenues on Wednesday. The strong demand for cybersecurity services by BlackBerry Ltd (NYSE:) Ltd was aided by the increased remote work environment and pandemic.
According to IBES data from Refinitiv, revenue fell to $184million for the third quarter, down from $218 million one year ago, but analysts had an average expectation of $177.25m, which was higher than what they were expecting, IBES data shows.
