Kenya’s GDP growth at 9.9% yr/yr in Q3 2021

NAIROBI, Reuters – Kenya’s third quarter GDP grew 9.9% in comparison to the previous year. This was due to the country rebounding from the effects of COPVID-19. Finance Minister Ukur Yatani stated Friday.

Yatani posted on Twitter that “Economic recovery continues from the effects COVID-19 pandemic occurred in the third-quarter of 2021, as a consequence of the relaxation of containment measures.”
