Billionaire Branson to launch European SPAC in Amsterdam

(Reuters) – Richard Branson, a billionaire businessman is about to open his first European blank-check company at the Amsterdam stock exchange. Sky News reports that Branson will do so in the next few months.

According to the report, the tycoon wants the company’s special acquisition (SPAC), listed on the Euronext stock market in Amsterdam, rather than a London bourse, which is where the Virgin Group is located.
