Novak Djokovic, the tennis world’s number one player, contracted Covid-19 but did not experience any symptoms. He had received clearance from Australia’s immigration before he traveled to Australia with a medical exemption.
After his visa was cancelled upon arrival, Djokovic is now in Australia’s immigration detention. His first coronavirus test came back positive on Dec. 16th 2021. However, the filing stated that he had not experienced any symptoms or fever of Covid-19 within the past 14 days.

January 1, the Serbian star in sports received a document from Department of Home Affairs, which stated to Mr Djokovic his responses indicated(d) that he fulfilled the requirements for quarantine-free entry into Australia.
Djokovic is a vocal critic of compulsory vaccination and has not disclosed his vaccination status. To win 21st Grand Slam at Australian Open on January 17, Djokovic will be challenging his cancellation of visa by Australia’s federal courts.
