A survey on Monday showed that this was the case.
Sentix’s index for eurozone increased to 14.9 in January from 13.5 during the prior month. A Reuters poll found that analysts expected January to show 12.0.
Current conditions index increased to 16.3 from 13.3 in January, the first increase since September.
The expectations index dropped slightly from 13.8 to 13.5.
Patrick Hussy is the Sentix managing director. He stated that the expectations for the next month were stable due to supply bottlenecks continuing and the high inflation numbers.
Sentix interviewed 1,163 investors between Jan. 6 and Jan. 8.
