TooNFT has announced that it has been launched on top of the South-Korean-based Webtoon company, Toomics’ ecosystem. TooNFT has also raised $1.75million in private financing.

TooNFT plans to use $1.75 million of the funds to create a global decentralized webtoon platform. Through the platform, TooNFT aims to expand its presence. The program was managed by HG Ventures.

HG Ventures was not the only participant in this event. Rather, institutions investors like Alphabit and GBIC provided support. Mindfulness Capital, Prestige Fund and other tech VC companies were also present.

TooNFT also takes pride in being at the forefront of premium subscription webtoon platform Toomics. TooNFT also operates in the Toomics eco-system, with the goal of bringing the NFT concept to the webtoon and comics industry. The company hopes to do this by improving creativity.

TooNFT is expanding further and will bring a system to allow writers to easily attract investments in a P2P model. With the private funding of $1.75 million, all these innovative ideas will be further accelerated.

The company is independent of third party support and will be focusing on the details to maximize efficiency. It will also combine its webtoon NFT infrastructure and blockchain with distributed ledger technology. It will make it easy to invest, provide reliable and secure service without the need for intermediaries, as well as transparent data rewards. Staking will be available to users as well.

Furthermore, with the Toomics ecosystem’s 50 million users and over 2.6 billion page views from countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, and North America, TooNFT has the chance to become the top blockchain-based webtoon platform within their ecosystem.

It’s important to note that, TooNFT will commence with multilingual infrastructure in 11 languages including English, Korean, Spanish, and French. TooNFT will open a new marketplace for NFT trading in the next year.
