© Reuters. France stock higher after close of trade, CAC 40 up 0.75Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
The Paris closing bell saw the index rise 0.75% and the Paris closing bell saw the stock market surge 0.66%.
ArcelorMittal SA – which rose 6.5% or 1.99 points at the close, was the best performer of the session. TotalEnergies SE, (PA:), added 3.07% to trade at 49.06 with an additional 1.46 points. Publicis Groupe Late trade saw SA (PA) rise 2.96%, or 1.76 points, to 61.32
These were the worst performers of the session. Renault SA (PA:) fell 3.56%, or 1.20 points, to close at 32.40. WFD Unibail rodamco NV (AS) fell 2.31%, or 1.54 point to close at 65.04. Veolia Environnement VE SA was down 1.26% (or 0.41 points) to 32.18.
Top performers in the SBF 120 competition were Rexel (PA:), which rose 10.32% and reached 20.85 Eramet SA (PA:), which rose 6.72%, settled at 81.75; and ArcelorMittal SA(AS:), which gained 6.50%, to close at 32.59
