BlackRock (NYSE 🙂 announced Friday its fourth quarter results. They beat analysts’ predictions and had revenue in line with their expectations.

BlackRock reported earnings per share at $10.42 for revenue of $5.11B. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS at $10.06 on $5.11B revenue.

BlackRock shares fell 5% over the first year but are up 10.85% since its 52-week peak of $973.16, which was set November 12, 2021. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is down 2.25% from the start of the year.

BlackRock follows an earnings beat of FactSet Research, December 21st 2021. They reported EPS at $3.25 per revenue of $424.81M. This compares to Forecasts EPS at $2.99 for revenue of $419.37M.

Jefferies Financial disappointed with Wednesday’s fourth quarter earnings of $1.2 on revenues of $1.81B. That compares to $1.31 per cent forecasted for revenue of $1.88B.
