Germany stocks mixed at close of trade; DAX down 1.32% -Breaking

Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index lost 0.01% at the Frankfurt close.

Sartorius AG VZO O.N. were the top performers during the session. (DE:) which rose by 4.26% or 19.000 to trade at 455.500 at the closing. Meanwhile, Zalando SE (DE) gained 1.96% (or 1.28 points) to close at 66.52. Merck KGaA was up 1.49% (2.80 points) to 191.05 in trade late.

The worst performers of the session were Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (DE:), which fell 11.01% or 8.67 points to trade at 70.05 at the close. Delivery Hero AG (DE:) fell by 3.79% (2.50 points), to finish at 63.46. Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:) fell 3.58% to 35.000, with 1.300 more points.

Stroeer SE, (DE:), which rose by 3.29% to 66,000 was the top performer on MDAX. Nemetschek AG O.N. O.N. Hella KGaA Hueck & Co (DE:), which gained 2.9% to close at 63.90.

Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. were the worst-performing. Deutsche Lufthansa AG(DE:), down 3.7% to 8.836 during late trade and Deutsche Lufthansa AG ($DE:) losing 3.61% to settle on 6.791 Aurubis AG (DE:), which fell 3.50% to 93.220 at the end.

Sartorius AG VZO O.N. was the top performer on the TecDAX. (DE:), rose by 4.26%, to 465.500. Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:), which rose 4.26% to 465.500, Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE) gained 1.98% and closed at 52.560

Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. was the worst performer. Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:), which fell 3.58% to 35.000 late trade. SMA Solar Technology AG AG (DE:), which dropped 2.67% and settled at 30.600. Siltronic AG (DE) which dropped 2.47% at 112.750 at close.

The Frankfurt Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 484 to 220, while 82 ended the same.

Delivery Hero AG’s shares fell 52 weeks ago to their lowest level. They lost 3.79%, or 2.50 to 63.646. Siltronic AG’s shares (DE:), fell by 2.47%, or 2.850 to 1112.750.

The February delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 0.41%, or 7.30, to $1785.80 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil rose 0.65%, or 0.56, to $87.17 per barrel in March, while April Brent oil contracts rose 0.79%, or 0.70, to trade at $88.87 per barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.1% at 1.1154 and EUR/GBP by 0.07%, to 0.8329.

At 97.195, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.05%.
