Sometimes, the term DAO refers to software systems that operate in an entirely automated manner. They rely on human workers only to do specific tasks and coordinate them. One example of a blockchain-based system that can sell files storage space and machine learning model services is the classic one. The network also accepts payment via smart contracts, automated scripts, or smart contract. The automated network could take care of every aspect of the organization — potentially, it could even include code enabling it to summon and pay a human accountant or lawyer when necessary.
