(Reuters) – The U.S. Senate Banking Committee will vote to advance the nominations for a list of Federal Reserve nominees on Tuesday February 15, according to Friday.

Fed Chair Jerome Powell is being renominated for his position. He is expected to be confirmed easily. Other nominees include Lael Brainard and Sarah Bloom Raskin as well as Lisa Cook, Philip Jefferson, and Lisa Cook.

Brainard is up for promotion as vice-chair of the central banking. Bloom Raskin would be the Fed’s Wall Street regulator if confirmed and confirmed by the Senate.

Philip Jefferson, Lisa Cook, and Philip Jefferson are Black economists. This would add diversity to the Fed Board’s currently white membership.

The hearing takes place at 2.15 PM EST.
