Investing.com – Japan stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Tokyo closed at 0.79%.

These were the best performers of the session Nippon Express Co. Ltd. T:, which fell 8.01% (540.0 points) to close at 7280.0. Meanwhile, Dentsu Inc. T: added 7.32%, or 315.0 points, to bring the total up to 4620.0 Kirin Holdings Co., Ltd. Late trade saw a 4.21% increase in T: or 80.0 points from 1978.0

Kubota Corp. shares (T:), fell 12.62% to 52 week lows, down 297.5 to 2606.5. Dentsu Inc.’s shares rose to 52 week highs, up 7.32% (315.0 to 46620.0).

March crude oil delivery fell 0.95% to $94.55/barrel. Brent oil fell 0.87 or 0.90% to $95.61 per barrel in commodity trading. The April Gold Futures contract rose 10.30 or 0.55% to $1879.70 an ounce.

USD/JPY decreased by 0.19%, to 115.31. EUR/JPY fell 0.4% to 130.55.

US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.2% at 96.168.
