When the fire broke out aboard the Euroferry Olympic, an Italian flagged vessel carrying 261 passengers and 51 crewmen, it was carrying the Euroferry Olympic from Igoumenitsa (Greek) to Brindisi (Italian).
The majority of the 280 persons who had been rescued from Corfu were transported by Vessels.
