(Reuters) – Warren Buffett has brought back his annual Extravaganza for Berkshire Hathaway’s shareholders (NYSE.) Inc. He calls it “Woodstock for Capitalists.”

The 91-year old billionaire, however, has one cautionary note: Get vaccinated against COVID-19 if you plan to attend.

To attend Berkshire’s Annual Meeting in Omaha on April 30th, you will need to have proof of vaccination. You can also shop at Berkshire-owned businesses within the adjacent exhibition hall.

This meeting forms the center of three days worth of Omaha events, which include shopping discounts, an outside picnic and a 5K run. These events typically draw around 40,000 participants from all over the globe, with a large number from China.

Many people go there to meet up with old friends, and also share their investment ideas. “It’s a tuition-free course in Investments 101,” said Tom Russo, a principal at Gardner Russo & Quinn who said he plans to attend his 35th meeting this year.

People used to stay up all night before opening at 7 AM in order to get great seats.

“It’s a weird combination of trade show and press conference and celebration of capitalism,” said Jim Shanahan, an Edward Jones & Co analyst who has gone twice. I am one of many who are eager to attend.

Because of the pandemic in 2021 and 2020, Berkshire has decided to cancel the weekend. However, it will stream its annual meetings online. The meeting this year will be streamed live.

Buffett, Vice Chairman Charlie Munger (98), will answer five hours worth of questions from shareholders. There will be a lunch break, and vice chairmen Greg Abel, Ajit Jain, and Ajit Jain join them for the morning.

Buffett stated in his Berkshire shareholder letter that Jimmy Buffett (no relationship) had designed a Pontoon party boat. It is currently being constructed at Berkshire’s Forest River Unit. You can purchase it at 10% discount.

Buffett stated, “Your bargain-seeking chairman will buy a boat to his family’s enjoyment,” “Join me.”
