Google blocks Russia’s RT app downloads on Ukrainian territory, says RT -Breaking

REUTERS/Dado Ruvic/IllustrationMOSCOW (Reuters) – Alphabet, (NASDAQ:) Inc.’s Google has blocked the download of Russian state-owned media outlet RT’s app for mobile on Ukrainian territory. This was at the request from the Kyiv government.
Google banned RT and other channels of receiving ads money on their YouTube, app, and websites on Saturday, in a similar move to Facebook’s (NASDAQ:), after the invasion.
