CoinGecko Updates Security Tab and Integrates Hacken Features
  • CoinGecko has updated the Security Tab of its Website.
  • Hacken features will be integrated into the new update.
  • The Security Tab allows users to access bug bounties and audit reports.

CoinGecko, the world’s largest independent cryptocurrency data aggregator, has recently launched an update on its Security Tab on the website. In a tweet, the platform stated that HackenProof bug bounty bounties and HackenAudit reports have been integrated into its platform.

Furthermore, CoinGecko emphasized “security as their top priority,” as risks are always evident in the DeFi space. They introduced Security Tab in September 2021.

CoinGecko estimates that nearly $3,000,000,000 was lost last year due to crypto-related exploits. However, CoinGecko decided to improve its security. Users can access this tab to view an audit report for a project as well as its security score.

CoinGecko shared the Security Tab use cases in a series tweets and offered a preview of what you can expect.

Hacken is an cybersecurity company that focuses mostly on the security of blockchain. HackenProof, a hacker bounty platform, offers customized programs for asset and business security.

CoinGecko Cofounder Bobby Ong commented further on the collaboration.

CoinGecko welcomes Hacken to our bug bounty programme. Hacken and we are aware of potential dangers for our users. This is why we work together to improve safety and security on our platform.
