Michael Price, well-known value investor, dies at 70 -Breaking

NEW YORK (Reuters] – Michael Price was a prominent value investor who ran MFP Investors. The firm released a statement Tuesday. Price was 70 years old.
Price, who had been suffering from a prolonged illness, died Monday, as per the email statement sent by Timothy Ladin to Price’s general attorney.
Ladin stated that “He was a legend investor, Philanthropist, great mentor to all of us,”
Fortune magazine published a 1996 article describing Price as Wall Street’s most important value investor. He was credited with the creation of Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan.
