The community is lacking discussions about the upskilling component of play-toearn (P2E), Brandi Veil, Being Investments founder and CEO stated during a WOW Summit panel discussion March 15 that P2Es could be a venue to help teach financial literacy among youth.
Veil shared that the youth can have “visceral experiences” with P2E games, allowing them to cash out their earnings to contribute to their families.
Play-to earn is changing what it means to be a young investor. Upskilling is not only changing how people think and feel about community, it is also changing their mindset. [the youth are doing these for] survival. They’re going from impoverished to somewhat sustainable.
