Stock futures rise slightly as market looks to build on rally following Fed rate hike

U.S. Stock futures rose modestly on Wednesday as investors digested new projections by the Federal Reserve.
Futures linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 55 points or 0.2%, just below 0.2%. Those for the S&P 500 rose 0.2%, while Nasdaq 100 futures ticked up 0.2%.

The war in Ukraine was also closely watched by investors. Stocks rose on Wednesday after news of progress in ceasefire negotiations. U.S. President Joe Biden approved additional weapons to be sent to Ukraine.
Investors will be able to access several economic data pieces on Thursday, including the latest jobless claims figures from last week. Before the bell, data on housing starts and Philadelphia Fed manufacturing data as well as industrial production will be available.
