Germany stocks lower at close of trade; DAX down 1.31% -Breaking

Investing.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index dropped 1.26% at the Frankfurt close.

These were the best performers of the session Brenntag AG (DE:), rose by 1.20%, or 0.90 points, to close at 76.18. Meanwhile, Bayer AG NA (DE:) added 0.44% or 0.26 points to end at 59.43 and Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (DE:) was up 0.44% or 0.28 points to 63.28 in late trade.

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered advancing by 465 to 216, and 82 finished unchanged.

Bayer AG NA, DE: shares rose 52 weeks to new highs. They gained 0.44% (or 0.26) to 59.43. Shares in K&S AG (DE:) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 4.39% or 1.21 to 28.75. Aurubis AG’s shares rose to new heights, gaining 1.93% (or 2.20 to 116.22).
