PARIS (Reuters). – A deal was struck between Australia and the United States that ended a $40 Billion submarine deal between Canberra, Paris and Washington. This source in France said Friday.

According to a French diplomatic source, “The UK supported this operation in an opportunistic manner.” To understand what it means and draw conclusions, we don’t have to speak to our ambassador in Paris.

France didn’t mention Britain in the official communication about the agreement, instead focusing its fury on Australia and the United States.
