These numbers are higher than the 386 780 816 doses of COVID-19 vaccines that the CDC reported had been administered by the United States as of Wednesday morning. This is in addition to the 467 249 7,715 doses.
According to the agency, 212,545,360 individuals had already received at least one vaccine dose, while 182,387.840 had all been fully vaccinated by 6:00 AM. ET Wednesday.
The CDC tally includes two-dose vaccines from Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.
About 2.3 million people have received an additional dose of either Pfizer (NYSE:) or Moderna’s vaccine since Aug. 13, when the U.S. authorized a third dose of the vaccines for people with compromised immune systems who are likely to have weaker protection from the two-dose regimens.
