Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Paris, the gained 0.84%, while the index added 0.70%.

The best performers of the session on the were Airbus Group SE (PA:), which rose 3.48% or 3.94 points to trade at 117.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Safran SA (PA:) added 2.63% or 2.88 points to end at 112.52 and Sanofi SA (PA:) was up 2.45% or 2.00 points to 83.71 in late trade.

WFD Unibail Rodamco NV – AS: was the worst performer of the session, falling 2.03% (or 1.36) to close at 65.57. Vivendi SA (PA:) declined 1.48% or 0.16 points to end at 10.63 and TotalEnergies SE (PA:) was down 1.35% or 0.56 points to 41.03.

The top performers on the SBF 120 were Airbus Group SE (PA:) which rose 3.48% to 117.30, Aperam SA (AS:) which was up 3.23% to settle at 48.00 and Safran SA (PA:) which gained 2.63% to close at 112.52.

The worst performers were Ubisoft Entertainment (PA:) which was down 3.97% to 51.28 in late trade, Air France KLM SA (PA:) which lost 3.44% to settle at 4.58 and Compagnie Plastic Omnium SE (PA:) which was down 2.47% to 22.12 at the close.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 305 to 292 while 80 ended the day unchanged.

The index, which tracks the implied volatility for CAC 40 options, was stable at 0% to 18,96, an all-time high of six months.

The December delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 0.41%, or 7.15 percent to $1730.35 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil rose 0.10 percent to $75.39 per barrel in November. The December Brent oil contract increased 0.08 percent to $78.41 per barrel.

EUR/USD fell 0.59% at 1.1611 while EUR/GBP rose 0.15 to 0.8641.

US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.52% to 94.267.
