GM CEO Barra named chair of Business Roundtable By Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – General Motors Chief Executive Mary Barra (NYSE:) was elected to chair the Business Roundtable. The influential group comprises U.S. Business leaders.

Barra was elected by fellow CEOs to succeed Doug McMillon, president and CEO of Walmart (NYSE:), who has chaired the group since January 2020. Business Roundtable includes other well-known business executives including Apple (NASDAQ:) CEO Tim Cook and JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:) CEO Jamie Dimon.
