Investing.com – Japan stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The worst performers of the session were Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (T:), which fell 11.63% or 800.0 points to trade at 6080.0 at the close. Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (T:) declined 10.53% or 890.0 points to end at 7560.0 and Nippon Yusen K.K (T:) was down 9.53% or 890.0 points to 8450.0.
