NEW YORK, (Reuters) – A U.S. Federal Appeal Court ruled that the Biden administration could continue to expel migrant families who cross the border into the United States-Mexico under a COVID-19 Pandemic Order while a suit challenging this policy continues.

Title 42 is the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention order issued under President Donald Trump in March 2020. This was to prevent the spreading of the coronavirus. The policy was not applicable to families by a federal judge on September 16. However, President Joe Biden’s administration appealed that decision.
