U.S. administers over 398 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

(Reuters) – As of Wednesday morning the United States had administered 398.675,414 COVID-19 vaccinations and distributed 480.427.985 doses.
These numbers are higher than the 397,718,055 doses of vaccine that the CDC reported had been given to patients by Tuesday, out of the 479,356,915 administered doses.
It stated that 216,012,495 persons had already received at least one dose, while 186 385,751 individuals were all fully vaccinated at 6:00 am. ET Wednesday
The CDC tally also includes vaccines of two doses Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.
About 6.4 Million people have received booster doses of either Pfizer Moderna’s vaccination (NYSE:), since the U.S. authorization of a third dose to people who have compromised immunity systems and are less protected by the existing two-dose vaccines on Aug. 13.
