Telecom Italia to partner with Oracle to offer cloud services in Italy By Reuters

MILAN (Reuters). Telecom Italia (MI::) (TIM), and Noovle, its unit, have entered into a partnership agreement with Oracle (NYSE:) in order to provide cloud services in Italy. The three companies announced this in joint statements on Friday.

The partnership will allow the companies to offer their services to public and private entities. This strategy would enable them to move to another provider in the event of outage.

They also stated that TIM selected Oracle for the migration of the mission-critical data management tasks to the cloud.
