Investing.com – U.S. stocks were mixed after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Salesforce.com Inc (NYSE 🙂 was the best performer of the session, rising 1.94% (5.41 points) to close at 284.41. During this time, Nike Inc (NYSE 🙂 gained 1.92% (or 2.95 points) to finish at 156.30. Microsoft Corporation NASDAQ : was up 1.17% (or 3.43 point) to 296.31 late trade.

The top performers on the S&P 500 were Advanced Micro Devices Inc (NASDAQ:) which rose 3.92% to 109.16, BlackRock Inc (NYSE:) which was up 3.78% to settle at 867.81 and Discovery Inc Class A (NASDAQ:) which gained 3.74% to close at 25.50.
Delta Air Lines Inc (NYSE 🙂 was the worst performer, falling 5.76% and reaching 41.03 late in trade. Align Technology Inc (NASDAQ :), which fell 4.97% to 596.22, and United Airlines Holdings Inc NASDAQ : which dropped 3.60% at 47.88 by the end.
Jasper Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ) rose 105.13%, to 14.790. Waitr Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ) was up 58.45% and settled at 1.2700. Sono-Tek Corp (NASDAQ): Closed at 6.4900 after closing up 44.22%
