Wednesday Stock Market Winners and Losers By Investing.com

Investing.com — The U.S. stock market indices ended Wednesday mostly higher after tech stocks rallied. Below are today’s most important winners:

  • Jasper Therapeutics, NASDAQ:), was the largest gainer of the day. It closed the session with a record 109% more after being called an ’emerging leadership’ in the field.
  • Connect Power After an upgrade, (NASDAQ:) saw a sharp rise. Morgan Stanley (NYSE:) Green hydrogen agreements with Airbus (NYSE:), and Phillips 66(NYSE:). Plug shares up 12.8%
  • SAP (NYSE) shares surged 5.2% upon news that SAP raised its third-quarter outlook following sustained subscription growth.

The day’s major losers were: 

  • CRISPR Therapeutics (NASDAQ:) updated results from its Phase 1 trial of CTX110 in B-cell malignancies, which is still ongoing, but closed the day down over 5%.
  • Delta Airlines (NYSE:) delivered a profit in its earnings report but warned of fuel cost pressures and ended the day with its shares falling 5%.
  • JPMorgan (NYSE 🙂 reported also positive earnings. It exceeded expectations for profit and revenue but saw its shares fall 2.64% by the end.
