WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The United States is concerned about the United Nations Human Rights Council. It will not pay “disproportionate” attention to Israel. This was stated by Ned Price, State Department spokesperson. He spoke out after Thursday’s election of the United States back to the council.

We have reservations about the council. Price stated that the United States would vigorously resist the council’s excessive attention to Israel. This is the only item on the council’s agenda which targets a single country.
