Goldman Sachs gets regulator nod for full ownership of China securities JV By Reuters

(Reuters) – Goldman Sachs (NYSE 🙂 announced Sunday that it had received approval from China’s securities regulator for full control over its mainland securities operations.

U.S. banks announced that they will purchase the remaining Goldman Sachs Gao Hua Securities Company Ltd. (GSGH), to rename them as Goldman Sachs China Securities Company Ltd.

The company also stated that the migration of its offshore business units from Beijing Gao Hua Securities to GSGH is in progress.
