(Reuters) – On Tuesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration proposed the creation of a new type of OTC hearing aids that could be directly sold to millions of Americans who are in dire need.
Agency stated that the proposed rule will facilitate innovation and improve competition by lowering entry barriers for hearing aid manufacturers.
