White House ‘deeply alarmed’ by apparent military takeover in Sudan -Breaking

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE – Reports of a Sudanese military coup have the United States government “deeply alarmed,” the White House stated on Monday.

Karine Jean Pierre, spokesperson for White House said that “we reject the actions of the military” and called for the immediate release and detention of prime minister and other people who were placed under house arrest.
