U.S. Treasury’s Yellen raised ‘issues of concern’ with Chinese Vice Premier Liu

WASHINGTON (Reuters). U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, “frankly raised concerns” during a virtual meeting Monday with Chinese Vice-Premier Liu He.

The Treasury statement was not specific about the concerns. According to the Treasury statement, the two officials had “discussed macroeconomic developments in China and the United States. Recognizing that these developments have significant implications for the world economy,”
