(Reuters). Facebook Inc (NASDAQ) Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook said that safety and privacy must be included in the metaverse. He opened Thursday’s virtual and augment reality conference.

Facebook is still under fire for its market power and its content moderation policies, as well as the harms it has caused by its social media platforms.

A shared virtual world which is accessible by everyone using different devices is known as the metaverse.
