Cerner Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q3 -Breaking

© Reuters. Cerner Revenue Beats in Q3Cerner (NASDAQ) – Investing.com reported Friday that Cerner’s third quarter beat analyst forecasts, and that revenue exceeded expectations.
Cerner posted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.86 on $1.47B in revenue. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $0.8153 for revenue $1.45B.
Cerner shares fell 9.95% over the first year. This is still a 16.07% drop from January 28, when it hit an all-time high of $84.20. The shares are outperforming the Nasdaq, which has risen 19.86% since the beginning of the year.
After the report, Cerner shares increased by 0.4% in pre-market trading.
Cerner’s earnings are in line with other tech sector leaders this month
Cerner’s earnings report comes after Apple beats expectations on Thursday with EPS figures of $1.24 per share on revenues of $83.36B. This compares to the forecasts of EPS at $1.23 for revenue of $84.85B.
Alphabet C beat all expectations Tuesday, posting a third-quarter EPS of $27.99 on $65.12B in revenue. This compares to the forecast of EPS at $23.84 for $63.47B.
